Coach Lenny Hatchett

Lenny Hatchett has coached for Mount St. Mary since 2004. Coach Hatchett competed on his high school Varsity Basketball and Track team at Carl Albert High School. Coach Hatchett played basketball for Phillips University located in Enid , Oklahoma. After attending Phillips, he transferred to the University of Central Oklahoma where he was a member of the Varsity Track team and recieved his Bachelor of Science Degree. He began his coaching experience at Del Crest Jr. High, coaching girls basketball and track. After there coaching at Carl Albert High school and Junior High for 8 years. While an assistant coach at Carl Albert High School , he was a part of the coaching staff  for the  2001 State Track team, first time ever in Carl Albert History. He was also first assistant for the Varsity Boys Basketball team, which won many honors and awards during his time coaching there.

As the Head Boys Varsity Coach at Mount St Mary"s High School, Coach Hatchett has lead his program to an overall record of 93-59 , also leading the team to the State Tournament back to back seasons,2009 and 2010, for the first time in some years.

Coach Hatchett was named Region 8 Coach of the year in 2009. He was also named Central Oklahoma Conference Coach of the year in 2009, 2008, and 2007.

Coach Hatchett is married to Cecilia Hatchett and together they have one child, Meliah, who was born August of 2009.
